Question / Help OBS records audio and when i convert it Sony Vegas cannot open it

View attachment 9901 Go to where you were before, Downloads, Updates, at the bottom of the Vegas section choose All Vegas Updates. Scroll down a bit until you find this, the entries don't appear to be in any sensible order so scroll carefully :-)
Nothing seems to work at all no matter what so I'm giving up. Was hoping to do vids as a hobby for years now but just really can't be bothered with so much hassle with no results to be honest. Thanks for all the help Adrian you've been great and i really appreciate it

One last suggestion I've got for you which is a workaround and not a solution at all :-( You could strip the audio out of the recording created by OBS using VLC. I have a video on YouTube on how to do this just replace the output from Roxio with the Output from OBS.

Once you've extracted the audio you can then just Open it into Sony Vegas. It's an extra step in your workflow but dealing with audio is pretty quick and VLC is free :-)
