So recently I've been trying to record Fortnite with obs with both 30 and 60 fps. both make my game lag + the recording lags. I have watched a few of those "Best OBS Settings" videos and they lag even more or don't reduce the lag. Oh, and i have tried recording both with my cpu and my gpu. I've tried putting the resolution down but i have to put it so low before it stops lagging that it just looks like 144p then. I have a 2560x1080p monitor.
My specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K (quad core)
RAM: 16 gt
GPU: GTX 980 (4095MB)
now from my computer knowledge, those are some decent stats that should be enough to record with OBS.
