Was working perfectly, switched between MKV & Mov encoding and now ALL recordings are in SLO MO, no audio, very problematic as it's effectively unusable. Help!

1. Run OBS as Admin. Right click on the shortcut, properties, advanced, check box, ok, apply, ok.
2. Audio buffering hit the maximum value. This is an indicator of very high system load (see #3), will affect stream latency, and may even cause individual audio sources to stop working. Keep an eye on CPU usage especially, and close background programs if needed.

Occasionally, this can be caused by incorrect device timestamps. Restart OBS to reset buffering.

Source affected (potential cause): Video Capture Device (Cam Link 4K)

Also "12:48:33.009: using video device audio: no". This could be cause of no audio.
3. The encoder is skipping frames because of CPU overload. Read about General Performance and Encoding Issues. Use the QuickSync Video (QSV) encoder instead of x264.
4. Your GPU is maxed out and OBS can't render scenes fast enough. Either change the FPS on your Cam Link 4K to 60 or 30 or change your OBS FPS to 25.
5. Please be aware that almost all modern streaming services and video platforms expect video in 16:9 aspect ratio. OBS is currently configured to record in an aspect ration that differs from that. You (or your viewers) will see black bars during playback. Go to Settings -> Video and change your Canvas Resolution to one that is 16:9 (1920x1080)

You're overloading your not very strong system by using x264 as encoder.
First priority to fix: In the recording settings, use as encoder "Hardware (QSV)" instead of x264.
