Hi all,
i have huge issues with my OBS recordings. How my setup look like:
- Sony Alpha 5100: HDMI clean output, 1080p
- Elgato CamLink 4k
- CPU: Intel XEON E3 1245v2 3,4GHz
- RAM 32 GB
I have connected my Sony through the CamLink capture card with my computer. I have a resolution of 1920x1080px. My settings for OBS Output > Recording are:
- Output Mode: Avanced
- Type: Standard
- Recording Format: mp4
- Encoder: x264
- Rescale output: deactivated
- Rate Control: CBR
- Bitrate: 8096
- Keysframe: 0
- CPU usage: veryfast
- Profile: None
The records works in general fine and when i start the recorded video in VLC or Windows Media Player it totally lags. Its like i am moving in slow motion (not that extreme but it looks not nice :)
I want to say, that i had previously (6 month ago) a AVerMedia Live Gamer Mini 1080p60 Capture Card which had no issues. In the meantime i have sold it and bought myself a CamLink 4k, and i also resettet my Sony to "factory settings" and configured everything from beginning. This seems to be a big mistake.
I hope someone can help me.
best regards
