Question / Help OBS recording stuttering when game was running just fine

I was going to try getting into LPing and I recorded about half an hour in Medal of Honor and it was fine while I was playing it, the game stayed at 60 FPS. But when I look back at the recording it's horrible, the game is running at 60 in the recording but every 3 seconds or so it will freeze on a single frame for about a second, the audio plays fine throughout. I want to know if I could fix this issue and if I could hopefully fix the gameplay I recorded because the commentary I got out of it was really good.

Here is the log (I don't know if this is the right one, since this is the longest amount I have recorded I just used the largest log file). http://pastebin.com/Hsz0EwWG

you're trying to do 1080p 60fps which is difficult to stream at. Is your bitrate at 30,000 or 3,000? 3,500 is kind of a good limit to set, though you probably need higher than that for 60fps 1080p.

he is talking about local recording and not streaming

as for the question i would suggest you trying to use a faster preset super or even ultrafast since its a recording you can bump the bitrate if needed but your cpu gets a little more headroom because technically 1080p60 on an i5 with veryfast preset is really really massive
