Question / Help OBS RECORDING SHOWS 7 SECOND BLACK SCREEN

Hey guys, I have been trying to run OBS but when I click on the recording in my files it only shows a black screen for seven seconds even if the video is longer. No audio. Just a black screen.
I have 64-bit Java and Windows 8.
Would appreciate all help.

If the preview looks OK then use a different video player like VLC.
