Obs recording laggy at higher FPS games

Hi! I am very new at recording my gameplays and stuff but I ran into a strange issue while I record them. Everytime a game runs at 120+ FPS, my obs recording(after i finished recording) its very laggy. If i cap the game at 60 fps or run Vsync, the problem dissapears but i wish i could play at my highest FPS. Is there a solution to this?

1. If you're recording from single PC turning off V-Sync significantly increases your GPU load, beacause it starts to render as much framesd as possible and doesn't leave OBS any power to proper recording
2. For smoothest settings your game FPS must be equal to recording FPS or at least multiple of it

You need to cap your framerate(or use vsync) at a sane rate so that you're leaving resource overhead for OBS to do its thing. When it renders unrestrained it literally pegs your gpu to near 100 percent
