I have two problems with the software. I'm only doing screen capture to file, not streaming, with no audio.
1) After three hours of solid use today, OBS suddenly starting recording itself as well as my targetted window. Yes, I could minimise it so that it didn't interfere with the recording, but it made preview useless as it only showed an infinite loop of the OBS window (like an infinity mirror). OBS was not maximised, was not selected as the source window in any of my settings, and I can't find any reason why that window was being recorded.
2) If I have a dialog box pop up in a screen (such as an Open or Save window for desktop applications), it's not captured by OBS. I have tried every combination of settings I can find, but OBS will only record the selected screen but none of the dialog boxes. Is there any way around this?
