I've been recording with OBS for a while now and haven't had many issues. But recently, after I installed my new monitor, no matter what I try I cannot record at all and get smooth 60fps at 1080p. In game it's fine and it feels really smooth and normal, but watching the playback it's quite noticeably laggy a lot of the time, dropping up to 10% of frames depending on game/map/etc.
I have an i7 8700k and GTX 1080 + 4x4gb of DDR4 RAM so hardware shouldn't be too much of an issue. I've fiddled with lots of settings but no matter what either I'll have lag in game and/or lag in the output file. I am using NVENC encoding. I've attached my most recent log file.
Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
