Question / Help Obs recording halves the ingame fps. Help

Usually play dota 2 at 60 fps and trying to record it via obs. Obs puts my ingame fps to 30 or even 25. I've tried using different encorders, making obs and the game use different and same gpu's, bitrate options. I've been fiddling with the settings for 2 days now. Still no increase in fps.
