Every time i record my Battlefield 3 game with OBS, it doesn't work for some reason.
When i record BF3, BF3 crashes. When i don't record, it's fine.
I really don't know how this happened. Please, if you know what this could be, please send some information below. Help would be very appreciated!

Sounds like interference. With exception of one or two games, if the game crashes when using game capture, then that usually means that there's interference from another program on the computer. (Cue copy & paste: ) These could be other capture programs, game mods and graphics mods (sweetfx in particular), graphics card utilities like msi afterburner or the EVGA 'K boost' feature (I think it's called), or programs that put in custom in-game overlays for their program, such as teamspeak/mumble overlays, or razer synapse overlay. If you're using "D3Dgear" (a very invasive program), you must completely completely uninstall it to fix the issue.

Actually bf3 runs on battle log with a plugin on it. I only use Firefox for battlelog. I also use AMD Radeon Gaming evolved to install current updates for my graphics card. That too has a game recorder which I dont use. I only use gaming evolved for graphic card updates. I also use OverWolf(gaming overlay) for Teamspeak 3 access in-game. That too has a game recorder which I NEVER use. So I will go ahead an uninstall OverWolf, but I dunno about gaming evolved. I think its important to have something that let's you know when a new graphics card update is available. So ur saying that too I have to uninstall for OBS?

The AMD/nvidia stuff usually do not interfere.

Overwolf sounds like it would however.

So basically, anything that has to do with AMD does not interfere? Including overlays? Because I think gaming evolved is an overlay too.

It might, I don't know. I thought "gaming evolved" was the part of the driver itself.

Oh okay. Anyways the OBS worked after uninstalling OverWolf. Thanks a lot!
