Question / Help Obs Recording automatically when starting a stream

As Useful As Obs Is For Streaming The Automatic Recording Feature upsets me greatly i only need the streaming feature but it still records regardless is there a way to make it not record automatically? the stop recording button gets stuck sometimes so its impossible to stop the recording most of the time if there is a way to permanently stop the recording when streaming i would very much appreciate a fix for this thanks for your time....

Turn off the setting.

i'm not sure where that setting is exactly ive looked through every part of the setting tab and not certain which one it is to turn it off

Settings - Broadcast settings - Automatically save stream to file.

thanks alot honestly i seen that was ticked but didn't know what it actually meant since i thought it was set for a reason since it was checked already when i reinstalled the program not that long ago but seriously thanks a lot you saved me a lot of trouble
