Question / Help OBS Recording at low framerates

When ever i'm trying to stream/record games with OBS it comes out completely choppy at 10-20 FPS while the game is still going at a smooth frame rate. I Don't know what's the problem.

My specs:
Core i7-6500U
12GB RAM
GeForce GT920M 2GB

Your graphics card is struggling - try lowering game settings, locking your game's framerate to 60fps, and especially turn off "compatibility mode" (or SLI mode) in the game capture source's settings - which you were running at one stage during your test. You can also try lowering OBS' framrate for recording/streaming to 30 instead of 60.
