Question / Help OBS reconnecting issue

Like others on the forums I'm having an issue with OBS disconnecting and reconnecting at random intervals. I have tried several suggestions but I can't seem to figure it out, so hopefully somebody can lend a hand and tell me if my PC is just special and should just be taken out back and shot or if I over looked something and now I should be taken out back and shot.

My set up:
  • Desktop PC
  • Ethernet to router
  • Cloud storage device (wired to router) automatically stores recorded video
  • OBS v0.62b test build

It is a fairly long file to skim through so here is a pastebin link to make life easier:
http://pastebin.com/J3cYSw0h

Next are attempts using the thread: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/dropped-frames-disconnecting-lag-read-this-first.8870/

  • Changing servers: I am currently in Nashville (Central). I attempted to use Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL, and Miami, FL. Each time I also changed my Twitch account timezone to match (suggested by many threads).
  • Bitrate: I have tried different bitrates such as: 4000, 3500, 1000, 700, 400. All have the exact issue and do not add any up time before the disconnect.
  • I am not attempting wireless
  • Different service: This is the only one I did not try, the reason is because if I stream using my PS4 there are no issues whatsoever, it is only when using OBS from my desktop.
  • Throttling: Here is the results of the DiffProbe Shaper Detection:
-
Code:
DiffProbe release. January 2012. Build 1008.
Shaper Detection Module.

Connected to server 213.244.128.151.

Estimating capacity:
Upstream: 11657 Kbps.
Downstream: 162206 Kbps.

The measurement will take upto 2.5 minutes. Please wait.

Checking for traffic shapers:

Upstream: No shaper detected.
Median received rate: 11349 Kbps.

Downstream: No shaper detected.
Median received rate: 56896 Kbps.

For more information, visit: http://www.cc.gatech.edu/~partha/diffprobe

  • Just for giggles I ran 3 speed tests (Speedtest.net, Speakeasy, and Consumer Broadband test) and all 3 had my upload in the 11Mbps range (varied only by about a tenth)
  • All of my drivers are up to date.
  • If you did not look in the log, I have "Minimize Network Impact" unchecked (Seems to be a common solution on the forums)
  • I have tried both the stable and BETA builds
  • I have tried resetting my stream key

So there you have it. All of my attempts but nothing has fixed the issue. Again, the only time I disconnect when using twitch is when doing so on my Desktop, my PS4 stream is fine. In a few hours I'm also going to attempt running EVE with its built in twitch streaming option to see if I have any issues with that as well.

Any help is appreciated!

edit:
I used EVE's built in twitch, and minus some lag it went fairly smooth. So I'm assuming this is an OBS thing?

Wanted to throw a question out there, should I use Nvidia NVENC encoder instead of the x264? I've seen a few threads saying always choose x264 if possible, but I also see a lot of threads using Nvidia.

Krazy

Town drunk
x264 for maximum quality, and customization for settings, NVENC for more performance, at the cost of quality (when using same bitrate as x264 @veryfast)

If the disconnection thread did not help, then there's not much other advice we can give. That is literally all the troubleshooting advice we can offer. Anything beyond that needs to either be taken up with your ISP, or even more in depth troubleshooting with your network equipment.

Ah, well thank you for responding and letting me know. If it isn't too much of a bother, did you by any chance look at my logs in case I messed something up?
