Hello,
I use OBS to screen/audio record the main screen of my 2019 MBP. Below are the specs:
When I record, all is well for 1-3 minutes, but then kernel_task shoots up to 200-1,000% CPU according to Activity Monitor.
I've done a lot investigating this and have brought my scaled resolution down; if I use anything better than 896x560, kernel_task skyrockets, and the computer is almost unusable. Even 896x560 is a bit slow. Unfortunately, though, 896x560 makes text look terrible in the recording playback, too.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
Thanks!
