Question / Help OBS + Radeonpro startup order

Hello,

I use Radeonpro with the buildin SweetFX Feature. When i use OBS it sometimes works but most the times my game ends up being a black screen in OBS. Wether i use gamecapture or windowed/screen capture it does not matter.

There must be a reason for it to sometimes work, is there some kind of start up order i am supposed to do?

exact same problem here. been using radeonpro to force vsync or fps limits in games to avoid overheating, and OBS often gets only a black screen. there are no errors in the log file that i can see.

I have the same problem.

I need RadeonPro in order to minimize input lag and optimize performance in a certain game, and, likewise, OBS is the only tool I have found that can record gameplay in this game well without noticeably affecting performance.

Unfortunately I can't get both to hook simultaneously anymore. One of two things happens:

1. OBS only gets a black screen
2. OBS works, but RadeonPro becomes unhooked

I would love a fix or at least a workaround for this!

Workaround is - use game in windowed fullscreen and capture the whole monitor with OBS. I would prefer a game capture solution though.

sweetfx isnt going to help you that the issue bud
it layers the brightness and obs is trying to get the image but it conflicts
if you can stream why are yo running fx for ?

I need to bump this up! Borderless Window is no option cause It doesn't work on 2 Monitor Setup due to Image overlaping to the other screen AND massive FPS loss 10-15

So how to get OBS work with OSD Settings in RadeonPro?
I have to restart the game over and over till OBS gets a Picture.

I bumbp this up again I mean why is there no idea?
And I can't play in Windowed mode to use DWM cause the game doesn't support it, and in the .ini file I can't change it either.

SweetFX is not compatible with OBS, due to how it affects game hooking. Uninstall RadeonPro and don't use it.
