Question / Help OBS Quicksync problem

I have got a problem with quicksync when I changed my motherboard and graphics card. My previous parts were a Gigabyte Z87 D3H and MSI HD7970. My new parts are MSI Z97 Gaming 7 and MSI GTX 970, while my CPU is i5 4670k.

I install the drivers fine, the computer detects that I have Intel HD4600 GPU. However, I can no longer select the 2nd virtual monitor to use the HD4600, only the GTX 970 option remains. Help!

Activate Quick Sync in BIOS.
I did that. I also updated the BIOS, tried to reset CMOS and again reactivate the iGPU and the problem stays the same. As I have mentioned, if I wouldn't have enabled iGPU in BIOS the HD4600 wouldn't show up in Windows

As you can see I can still enable Quicksync in OBS but I gain absolutely 0 gain in CPU usage compared to other encoding methods. I also checked the iGPU usage while streaming, which always stayed at 15%, even when I'm not streaming.

You don't need to do the extended desktop thing or have anything connected to the iGPU to use Quick Sync in Windows 8, as long as the iGPU is activated with drivers installed it will work. You can select the option in OBS, so if it's outputting video then you're using Quick Sync. What exactly is the problem?

Oh I did not know that, thanks! My CPU usage is still very high but I can live with that
