Question / Help OBS quicksync and QSVhelper.exe crash

hey guys

so i've setup everything as descriped in this tutorial

and it pretty much works.. the only problem i cannot solve is the QSVhelper.exe crash.

I couldnt find anything with the Search function on the board which helps me fix it.

Is there a fix?

It looks like the Quick Sync support on your iGPU isn't able to keep up with 720p60 encoding. Make sure you've installed the latest GPU drivers from Intel. Try lowering your FPS to 30 and see if that helps; if not, try lowering your stream resolution as well.

I use Quick Sync longer than this issue occurs. It really sucks. I still use the newest driver.

thanks for the fast response... seems not to be working.
i downgraded almost everything and its still gettin me the same error :/
Sad.. would be really nice to use unused ressources.
Maybe there will be a fix soon

ok so i thought i bump this one..

it appears that OBS wont crash if i disable the downscaling resolution so im streaming 1:1 absolutely fine (even with 60fps).
But as soon as i scale down to 720p it crashes..
Both with quick sync ofc.
kinda .. well.. confusing..
