Question / Help Obs putting lag while streaming on twitch

As soon as I start streaming, the game lags because uploading/downloading is what makes anything laggy.

Me and my brother play games on different laptop, how do I stream without making both of us not laggy?

What do I need to attach/ share for others to look at and can see what needs to be fixed?
