Question / Help OBS + PS4 + AverMedia LGP = No Game Sound?

I'm using my AverMedia LGP with HDMI on my PS4. I have a HDMI splitter. HDMI from PS4 to HDMI splitter. HDMI splitter to Monitor/TV and to LGP. I have tweaked OBS to get the videa streaming quality I want, but i'm not getting any game sounds from my streams. I do hear my PC mic working.

I've searched here and there. It doesn't seem like many are using the LGP. Anyone know what the issue might be?

Is your LGP set to use device audio in OBS?

I have tried setting to both device audio and steam engine audio. Out come is same. No game sound.

after doing some messing around today. i had audio cable run from my monitor / tv to my pc input. i set obs to use the input as my game sound. that worked fine for about 10 minutes or so. i got to a part in the game i wanted to hear, so i put my sony wireless gold headset on. after that, no more sound on my stream. so this headset steals the game sound and doesn't share it with obs to stream. WTF! i like the headset and would hate to have to figure out how to buy a new just so i can keep streaming. ideas from here?

anyone else use the LGP for stream on the ps4? i want to keep using OBS for the overlays and extras you don't get from streaming straight from the share button on the ps4.
