Hi, lemme go ahead and introduce myself
I'm new to the forums and streaming in general. Recently picked myself up a gaming pc and built it myself. The specs are 4th gen I7, (not sure on the motherboard however i remember when checking on it, it was rated as a top of the line motherboard) I have a gtx 980ti and 16 gigs of ram. Any other specs you need just ask. Im not sure whats all important.
Anyway, I was streaming with OBS on League and all was fine. No blurriness or frame drop, but when I went to more demanding games I.E. Fallout 4, CS-GO, H1Z1 ect.. It was suddenly like you couldnt even see the stream. I am streaming in 1080p but downscaled 1.5.
Now heres what i don't understand:
I tried out ShadowPlay by GeForce, and all the problems I had with OBS vanished. No blurriness on movement, my stream was crystal clear but I couldn't do all the things i could with OBS. I have 6.7 Upload (most common result when tested on Speedtest.net) and i usually set OBS up as 1800-2000. Could anyone give me some advice as to why?
