Question / Help obs preview lag

Hi, i'm having laggy preview in my obs which ended up my stream lags as well, however this only happened to my dota2 and i have no such problem in other games like overwatch, ffxv, pubg and etc. Not sure which settings i changed resulted in this. Also, i'm using a 1440p, 144hz refresh rate monitor. Doesnt seems to be overloading my cpu and gpu too

i found out the problem that makes the preview lags. apparently it's caused by this setting in dota where there is 3 choice of display mode. It lags when you choose exclusive fullscreen and back to good when choose borderless window. Wonder what's the difference
