Question / Help OBS portable questions

So I have been doing some reading and found that another program called "Snagit" will allow you to put it on a usb flash drive plug it into a game console and the program will record game play for you. My question is does OBS portable, or OBS in general, work the same way? Can i put OBS on a flash drive and just plug it into a game console and have it record game play?

No, you cannot do that with OBS.

Can you link to the place that told you that you could do that with Snagit?

okay nevermind. i found it in a youtube video at linked to techsmith, but come to find out its clickbait for people to buy snagit. sorry.
