OBS pop up windows won't open, and it crashes every time i close it

When I close OBS it crashes and I get this window

Then when I open it, it has the safe mode prompt

At that point if I choose Run Normally, none of the windows will open- if I click on Filters or Properties etc.
If I run in Safe Mode first, close it, then open it, I don't get the safe mode prompt and it behaves normally

One strange thing is: if I try to open Filters and the window doesn't open, then open something else like Preferences from the menu bar, both the Filters and Preferences windows will appear but behind OBS. The Filters window was invisible before opening Preferences.
It will also crash again when I close it.
Its like OBS can't find where the pop up window should appear

Right now I can only use OBS normally by crashing it, running it in safe mode, closing it, and opening it again

Me too. Everytime now. I can't open Properties to fix the video source so I'm blocked on streaming.

Same. And downgrade to 30.0 then everything's fine. Weird.

I have an overlapping problem -- no crashes, but I can't get the pop-up windows unless I also open preferences, and when I do, they're not fully built -- e.g., in Advanced Scene Switcher, the buttons to add or delete components are not present. There are spaces for them, but clicking them does nothing.

Disregard my post, updating the version of A-S-S fixed my issue
