Question / Help OBS playing previous audio back?

my audio from previous parts of the recording keeps playing back randomly, and it becomes a pile of random audio nobody can make out. Intel PC. Any solutions? I can send a list of settings if required.

Don't listen to your own stream while streaming.

alright, but how do i look at the chat, just mute the stream for myself?
