Question / Help OBS Picks up Mic and Desktop Sound, but doesn't record it.

I'm trying to record simple gaming videos on OBS with a mic and a headset. I set the mic to the one I'm using, and the sound to my headset. While the green bars at the bottom fluctuate when there's audio, letting me know that it's picking up the audio, it doesn't seem to record it. When I look at the mp4 file, there is no audio. I've checked for muting, unplugged my headset, and looked for answers on the forum, but with no luck. Please help.

If you're playing back a file created with OBS but there's no audio or there's no video, try using VLC instead - http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html

Alright so if I open up a recorded mp4 file with Vegas Movie Studio I can hear the audio, but it's in really bad quality. I made sure it wasn't my mic by recording my voice with the default voice recorder.

So I figured out the problem. I was using OBS Studio instead of OBS Classic. I installed OBS Classic and recording works fine now. But I think that problem with OBS Studio should be fixed for people who want to use it and have this problem.
