OBS picking up other audio

using OBS a secondary recording studio for podcast. one set of mic and camera into Riverside Fm, one set of camera and mic into OBS. for some reason OBS is picking up all audio from myslef and my remote guests?!!! i checked my settings and dont see any other device activated for OBS to use. How is OBS picking up audio form a remote feed if I am wearing headphones, have the mic set and my guests audio is set into a virtual studio at RiversideFM? Thought experiment: If you set another mic in the room and recorded it separately, what would it (actually) pick up?

These things aren't magic, nor do they have any idea what you're trying to do. They just blindly follow physics, and that's all.

Another possibility is that you still have the Default audio sources in Settings -> Audio, when you really have no use for them. If that's the case, Disable them. No sense in keeping things around that can only cause problems.
