Question / Help OBS Picking Up Desktop Audio When Using Video Capture Device.

Im using OBS for local recording with my Micromsoft capture card, im using the 'Video Capture Device' as the source so i can use my capture card and in the 'Video Capture Device' settings have the audio set to, 'Output Audio To Stream Only'.

But for some reason my recording is picking up audio from the desktop, with the settings i have set shouldn't OBS only be getting audio from my capture device and nothing else?

No. That just says 'don't play capture device audio out over my speakers'.
OBS will still capture any audio coming over the configured System and Mic channels, in your OBS audio settings.

You can mute desktop/system-channel audio by clicking on the speaker below the preview window. It should go grayed out. This should not mute audio coming from your capture card, if it is present in the scene.
