OBS overloading GTX 1060 mobile

I've tried everything from reducing the frame rate, to lowering the bit rate and it still seems like OBS is overloading my GTX 1060 mobile.

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz, 2208 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)

GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q Design

RAM: 8 GB

Storage : 120 GB Hard drive to host software, 1 TB drive to host other files

My sisters game is also lagging while recording and im honesty clueless on what to do. Please someone help.

Sorry not a gamer... but more generally - have you used Windows' Task Manager/Resource Monitor and check hardware resource utilization of all components (RAM, CPU, Disk & network I/O, & GPU) and made sure you have adequate spare resources?
I know you mentioned GPU only, but bottlenecks in one area can impact others
And have you researched/read in this forum where running OBS as local admin will help when GPU contention arises?
