Question / Help OBS Overlay Question?

I use obs to livestream when I play cod but I also have it on recording, incase something happens and I want to use it for a youtube video (clips) .

When I livestream I have an overlay with some text over it and when I record, the overlays show up in the recording aswell. I just want only the gameplay. Is there a way to remove the overlays/text and such and just get the gameplay in the recording?

Yes, use two instances of OBS. that is pretty much the only way. the recording instance of OBS will need to use a hardware encoder like NVENC, quicksync or VCE. for the streaming instance you will use x264. there is a guide here:
