OBS Only shows webcam and not my Camcorder

HELP!!!!
I'm following the instructions to add my camera source and my Sony HD cam is not pulling up. Its only showing the webcam. I have a live event to stream and the webcam wont cut it. I have it hooked up through a HDMI cable directly from camcorder to laptop and nothing is happening. Please help.

To read from a hdmi signal, you need to obtain a hdmi capture device for your PC/Laptop.
