Question / Help OBS only recognizes one channel from preamp

So, odd problem...

I'm streaming on twitch with a Shure SM58 for vocals, put through one of these: http://artproaudio.com/mic_preamps/product/usb_dual_pre_ps/

I don't know whether that's good or bad, but it was a big step up from my usb microphone. The only problem is that I'd now like to add a direct line in from my guitar as well.

There's a second channel on the preamp, so it seemed like it would be straightforward. But OBS only seems to want to recognize the first channel. Doesn't seem to matter whether it is a mic or a guitar -- OBS picks up whatever is plugged into channel one on the preamp and leaves the other channel out in the cold.

I've verified that both channels are working. They both register input on the device itself. I even gave it a try patching the headphone jack line into my computer's 1/8 inch microphone input, and both came through (albeit with terrible noise and poor quality, so it's certainly not a viable solution for streaming.)

I tried OBS Studio, but ran into the same problem. I've messed with the "force to mono" checkbox, but no dice either way. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, OBS does not support multichannel devices (well, beyond stereo). If the interface can be set up so that each port shows up as a separate device, that'd likely be the easiest way to go about it, along with the Directshow Audio Device plugin.
