Question / Help OBS NVENC and AverMedia LGP

Ok so I have been using the LGP to cap my console gaming and send it to the pc for obs to stream.

Since upgrading my pc I have now got 2 obs running 1 for local recording in nvenc and then i project the obs window to a 3rd monitor which i capture on the streaming obs...

All is well and good after a lot of setting tweaks i can play pc games and record 1080p fantastic quality and stream at 720p yay!

so the issue im suddenly having is that the video that is coming into obs is stuttering it started on cod and i thought maybe it cant keep up? but now it also does it on wii U on mario....

i messed with the settings a little and found that when i changed the settings in lgp stream engine from 1080p at 30 fps to 720p at 30 fps the stuttering stops entirely....

the computer cpu is running at around 40-60% when and there are no dropping of frames, the local recording is jumpy aswell as obv the stream as the preview or the projected screen is jumpy as hell its liek its dropping frames

does the LGP pre render the video that is going to the pc? meaning when nvenc tries to use it its causing issues?

if so should i send it back and just get the pcie version?

or can i turn settings off to stop it rendering on the device, i dont use it pc free ever its literally to send the image from consoles to the pc to record and stream....

or is it some thing im doing in obs??

thanks in advance im hoping this isa common thing and its because nvenc cant use the video footage coming from the cap card properly or some thing

i changed the settings up to 1080p and at 60 video bitrate and it whent really really bad so i changeed it back and it is now working fine on the original settings......

the strange thing is we was streaming yesterday and it was fine for 3 hours then it stuttered for 5 mins then was ok for a few hours again then stutter again it doesnt seem to be all the time it seems random which is slightly confusing
