Question / Help OBS Not Streaming

I downloaded that Twitch Test tool you guys recommended to find a better server since I was dropping frames. Ever since I downloaded that program I can't stream. I had a bad feeling at first about using their program since they require your stream key. It seemed legit so I tried it. OBS keeps crashing and it won't stream. I deleted that "tool" and reinstalled OBS. I'm at my wits end. Please help.

No, you were dripping frames, which means that ever since your ISP fucked up, you haven't been able to stream.

The twitchtest utility just showed you that your connection had gone to shit.

What does dropping frames have to do with not being able to stream at all? I've been dropping frames for the past couple weeks (since I started with OBS) and did some research earlier today on how I can fix it. OBS recommended that program and now I can't stream at all.

I've got a question for the OP do you mean that your version of OBS will not start the stream at all or you can't stream because of quality? And Harold why are you being a arse

When I try to upload a file i cant find where my logs are in my pc. I go to where it says its suppose to be but nothing is there. Thanks for the help with this guys. I was starting to think harold was gonna be the only one to respond with his condescending remarks.

Also, I tried removing obs then reinstalling it. still wont let me stream.

When I select "start streaming" it will "stream" but its not connecting to twitch. I don't get my notification to my phone that i've gone live and there are no kb/s on the bottom right of OBS. Sometimes for about 3 seconds it will work then it goes back to 0 kb/s. I'm downloading the visual studio 2015. I thought I already had it but we'll see. Thanks again guys. I'll keep you informed of what happens. I have to go back to work.

I think that did it. What's weird is that I stream everyday. The only thing different between yesterday and the day before was that I downloaded the Twitch Test tool then everything with OBS crapped out as far as streaming. I tested it for a couple minutes after I downloaded the visual studio 2015 then tried it and it actually went live. I'll have to do a longer test stream tonight. I hope that was it. Even though I still don't understand how that could have been the problem.

Well in my opinion that makes the most sense when you have a problem. Start with the most recent change then trace your steps back from there to find any other problems. How about you help or don't comment. You did absolutely nothing to help and it had nothing to do with my ISP. Go troll someone else's thread. I'm done speaking to you, do not comment again Harold.

Your ISP was fucking up and decided that it was done fucking up recently. You can thank Harold for telling you that in the first comment. Which you decided to ignore.
