Question / Help OBS Not Streaming

Twitch does not save broadcasts by default. You have to enable that in your Twitch settings.

Having said that, your log looks pretty bad...you need to lower your encoding settings to stream with that ahrdware, because you're getting a ton of duplicate frames, which is indicative of your hardware not encoding fast enough. I recommend downscaling your resolution to 480p or lower, and raising the x264 preset to ultrafast.

Your log file is from a local recording, not a live stream. You might want to check into that. :)

Go to Settings > Broadcast Settings and make sure the Mode dropdown box at the top is set to Live Stream.

The logs are named in chronological order, and a new log is created when you launch OBS. Easiest way to do this would be to close and relaunch OBS, try to live stream for a few minutes, then post the latest log (assuming a VOD doesn't show up on Twitch's site).

It looks fine and you didn't drop any frames. Twitch should have a short VOD of whatever it was you streamed to them, assuming you enabled the option dodgepong described.

Don't bump your thread so fast. If you need immediate assistance, go to the webchat (link at the top of the page).

Are you sure you're streaming and not recording locally or previewing? What is the link to your stream?

What other settings would I have to change? I have the mode set to livestream and I am pressing Start Recording. twitch.tv/bruterave

Sorry about the bumps
