Question / Help OBS Not Streaming to Twitch

So I have posted a thread about this previously and I was told my CPU is horrible but I cant even stream to Twitch. I would think that 3.1 GHz would at least be able to register that I am streaming and just drop frames and lag horribly. It shows as my stream being offline. My mode is not set to local recording. I am using an Elgato Game Capture HD with my Xbox 360.

Yes, you appear to be experiencing both skipped frames (cpu issues) and frame drops (network issues). You appear to have little CPU available to encode, even on ultrafast. Your CPU only has two cores, and despite its speed it appears to be struggling to keep up with what you're trying to do with it.

It might be because your system is struggling so hard, it's not sending enough frames to Twitch in a timely manner for them to even keep the stream up. If the encoder/OBS is waiting around for 75% of frames that aren't coming, there's not a whole lot of data to send out. It's possible Twitch is just disconnecting you because it's not seeing enough data get sent.

It should be ok, but if you're set on AMD I would really recommend at least an FX-8000 series

That's on Twitch, you have to specifically enable saving VODs now in your channel settings somewhere (I forget where, exactly)
