Question / Help OBS not staying connected with Twitch

Heya I am a twitch Streamer and Everytime I use my OBS it doesn't stay connected to my twitch account. Or I guess it does but I have to Disconnect and re connect in order to have my Twitch activity feen and chat up. Please help. I am also wondering if you can provide me with a reason why my OBS has to be restarted every time I switch from my Starting soon scene to my live blood scene as it doesn't seem to want to stay in contact with my Desktop picture. This has been happening only since last Update. Please help.

If you have the streamelements plugin installed, it is known to cause this behavior.
Uninstall that plugin and reinstall just the base OBS Studio.

Thank you tons for your reply. Yeah I think I just figured out it the Dam Stream Elements add on. However everytime I say dont allow this program to make changes to OBS it wont update and then shuts down my OBS and stream feed. I swear I have the worst luck.

I tried exactly what you said but I am not sure if it will affect my Twitch Layovers. =( So stream Elements updates automatically and screws it all up again. =( I am a technological disaster.
