Hello,
Just wanted to let you know that I've had this issue at least twice. OBS has disappeared from my task manager and attempting to launch the program again fails. My stream continues to work but I lose all ability to Stop Streaming, edit the sources or switch scenes because the OBS window is gone. I have to turn off my PC to stop streaming.
I believe this was connected to AeroShake, a feature of Windows which minimizes all windows except the one you shake around. Accidentally shaking my window minimized OBS and then I couldn't find it as described above.
Hopefully I've stopped this from happening again by disabling AeroShake via the registry.
