Question / Help OBS not Responding when adding EL gato video capture device

Please Help anyone i need to continue to stream but anytime i try to add my elgato onto my obs. It will not respond and crashes. I have redownloaded updated versions and nothing has helped any suggestions are welcome. PLEASE HELP...
