Question / Help OBS Not registering Microphone

Hi team,

I'm struggling to get OBS to register my microphone, I've looked in the forum and it appears it's a known yet resolved issue for interfaces over 8 inputs? I'm using an RME Fireface UFX, it registers desktop audio fine and the microphone is definitely working as I can route it using the totalmix fx to my headphones and around and it's definitely working, but OBS just does not seem to want to register it at all...

Also tried using ableton as a work around by using the mic as the input and soundflower 64ch as the output but no luck.

Any idea's?

OS: Sierra
Interface: RME Fireface UFX 1
DAW: Cubase 9.5

Try the demo version of LoopBack by Rogue Amoeba. You can create a virtual channel and add to it the exact channel number you want from the Fireface. Then OBS might see it.
