Question / Help OBS not recording system audio

Basically the title, OBS Studio has been working great for me for about a month now, but yesterday when I went to try and record something the program wouldn't pick up any system audio. It recorded my mic just fine, and I made sure to check my settings and it was recording the correct playback device.
Any ideas what the problem might be?

It seems as if you only have your headset selected in your audio settings. I don't know but i did find this:

21:31:28.568: [WASAPISource::TryInitialize]:[Headset Earphone (Razer Kraken 7.1)] Failed to get initialize audio client: 88890008

I don't entirely know what will fix this but I have a few things you can try:

-Change the headset settings to share 16bit 44100 khz format
-Try using the 64-bit version of obs studio

If neither of these work you can try looking for more potential fixes by searching the error on google "error 88890008 razer"


I did find this thread from years ago with seemingly the same problem (probably wont help)

Thanks for the suggestions! Using 64bit OBS fixed the problem
