What was the previous video card

Bug Report - OBS 23 crashes on record or stream with Quicksync, after upgrade

After upgrading from 22 to 23, every time I press the record or stream button, OBS will crash immediately when using Quicksync. I have tested old nvenc, new nvenc, and x264 and they were fine. This only started happening after upgrading from 22 to 23. Here is my crash report...

OBS doesn't crash for me, it just says "Starting the output failed". Anyway, I tried downgrading to 22 and it's the same problem, likewise just replacing the driver.

So you downgraded the Intel driver? What version are you running now?

I downgraded the obs-qsv11.dll. I have now changed it back to the current one since it didn't make a difference. I still don't think this bug is related to the one you posted since the symptoms are different. My Intel driver is from 2014 anyway, as is my current video card's.

It's possible that a new version of OBS has a conflict with an old Intel driver. Your crash is quite clearly QSV related:

You might look at upgrading your Intel driver something newer than 2014, but prior to October 2018 which is apparently when this bug was introduced.
