Question / Help OBS NOT RECORDING AUDIO

Hello,

I've only been using OBS for about 3 days for recordings. Today I tried to stream and the audio is no longer being captured. All the settings are default save for removing the cursor when i first downloaded it.

When recording the other day it was working just fine. The only setting changed since then was the set up to stream. Now it won't pick up audio for recording or streaming.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no success.

Anyone who's experienced this and found a fix, any tips would be much appreciated.

Instead of using Default for both Desktop and Mic, select the actual audio devices (Settings>Audio)

Ensure you have not turned on Monitor(Mute Output) for either of the devices under Advanced Audio Proprieties
Ensure you have not turned off Track 1 for either of the devices under Advanced Audio Properties.
Ensure you did not change Stream from Track 1 (Output>Streaming>Track 1)

I created an account for the sole purpose of saying thank you. I guess I selected this in the beginning and unchecking this fixed my problem.
