Question / Help obs not recognizing elgato game capture hd.

So i have my Elgato game capture hd all set as a source, but when i go to properties and try to configure it, it says that i need to connect a game capture device. yes i am in stream preview when i try to configure it. Is there a way to get OBS to recognize that it is connected?

It still doesn't let me change it from xbox one to anything else. I am trying to capture PS3 gameplay and i need to change it to PS3 input device instead of Xbox one. It opened up a couple more options in the configure window though.
