Question / Help OBS not recognizing all inputs from Zoom H6 Handy Recorder

I'm trying to use the Zoom H6 handy recorder as an audio interface into OBS but coming across issues with all the inputs coming out in OBS. Inputs 3&4 for a while were just coming out on one side, but I set the H6 as mono in OBS and seemed to have fixed that issue, but I'm still having trouble with Input 2 coming out at all in OBS. I can hear it on the monitor using the H6, but nothing when monitoring sound in OBS. What can I do?

I ran into this problem and found the problem was in the H6 not the computer. IF you go into the H6 settings you can change the behavior of the inputs to ask as a stereo versus mono.

Can you let us know how you fixed this in detail. I'm having same issues. Track 1 goes into OBS as stereo, tracks 3 and 4 as mono left and right respectively. However, I can merge these together using the matrix function thing and it's fine. So I get a mix of 1, 3 and 4 in but no track 2. So weird! haha! But when I record to SD card or monitor, track 2 is behaving normally 100%.

I am quite surprised that nobody solved the issue up to now. I tried different settings stereo vs mono but it did not help at all.

gocha! First, you need to install Asio4all plugin for Win and OBS.
or similar links.
then, in OBS Sources by + or right click you add Asio input capture you create NEW. Name it like Zoom H6 XY. In properties for this device choose Asio4all, format Stereo and in OBS channel 1 mark Multitrack Audio 1, in OBS channel 2 choose Multitrack Audio 2. This is your XY Zoom H6 mic! it's stereo, so it has two channels.
Next, back to OBS Sources by + or right click you add Asio input capture you create NEW. Name it like Zoom H6 ch_1. In properties for this device choose Asio4all, format MONO and in OBS channel 1 mark Multitrack Audio 3. This is your mic on channel 1. Repeat for all Zoom mic channels.
Again: Multitrack Audio 1 & 2 - XY; Multitrack Audio 3 - channel 1; Multitrack Audio 4 - channel 2; Multitrack Audio 5 - channel 3; Multitrack Audio 6 - channel 4.
Now in your Sources you should have all 5 mics!
In Audio Mixer you may hide some of them pressing the eye button in Sources.
