Question / Help OBS not recognising Steam Games

I tried to stream War Thunder and Nosgoth, both from Steam, but when I try to create the source on my scene, OBS doesn't recognise the game. I right click on sources, then add, then game capture, then the only application to select is chrome, even though War Thunder or Nosgoth is running. It is wierd, because I don't have this problem with Darkest Dungeon (also from Steam) or Battlefield 4 (from Origin). Can anybody help me?

Well, it sudenlly worked. Or else, kinda worked. Now it only streams video when I the game is on the screen. If I minimize it, or if I press alt+tab, the streaming freezes. Any ideas?

That's standard behavior for fullscreen games.

So what should I do? When I alt+tab for some reason my streaming will stop or freeze? Is there any sollution?

Don't run your games in fullscreen.
Run in windowed borderless

Or just don't tab out.

That's done in your games' video settings.
