OBS not playing my VLC video source (URL option)

My issue is...once I added the VLC Video source (URL option) to OBS the video doesn't play, it's stuck at 0:00. how can I correct that?

I'm live streaming from my DJI Mini 2 drone & DJI FLy app using RTMP on my Macbook Pro M1. the video has a minor time delay, in my DJI Fly App compared to the VLC media player video feed but that's expected. I just can't get my VLC video source to play in OBS, but it does play in the VLC app. i feel it's an issue within OBS.

both OBS & VLC are 64 bit

Having the same issue... works fine on my windows laptop, but when I try to add a VLC Video Source (using URL) nothing happens. Just stays at 0:00. I'd prefer using the Mac M1 Mini as It's much more efficient with smoother video... Is there a work around for this yet?

it plays the audio feed, but not the video feed
