Question / Help OBS Not Playing Ingame Audio Since Update

I had no issues with audio before I updated it, and I tried turning off the GX setting on my soundcard, which before was the issue when I first started streaming which prevented me from streaming audio on older games, but now its risen again, just its not that anymore

I have provided a log from the last 30 minutes or so of my stream where I had no audio.

That has absolutely nothing to do with audio problems. It doesn't handle audio at all.

Does the problem persist if you try to record/stream using obs studio instead?

I don't have it installed, issue doesn't seem to effect WoW, only the game I was streaming, Batman: Arhkam Origins

Well it may be time to switch to studio.

Especially given that classic hasn't gotten any meaningful updates in over a year.

That is not with the current version of Studio.
Have you tried using a virtual audio cable as an interim audio device

Hey buddy, you ain't helping the situation at all. This is related to the program more so than the hardware. On top of that the issue is more so related to OBS itself or possibly software related, virtual audio cables have absolutely nothing to do with this situation AT ALL.

Unless you are actually going to help fix the issue please fuck off :^)

AND YET

No portion of the audio capture parts of OBS changed in the update. The asus xonar is KNOWN to be problematic for capturing that is directly related to the issue.

Virtual Audio Cables will give OBS a different angle to attempt to capture the sound from. If you're not going to try them, then chances are the only solution will be to replace the sound hardware you're currently using with hardware known to work properly.

And I figured you didn't want to spend extra money on this.
