I recently broke my 3.5mm input on my laptop, so I attempted to record using a USB headset. At first, I attempted to use an old Logitech headset, which seemed to work perfectly fine with every other app on my computer that could access my microphone. However, when I attempted to record something with OBS, it didn't pick up my microphone through the Logitech headset, causing me to waste over an hour of commentary. Today I purchased a Razer Kraken headset, to see if it was a problem with the Logitech headset itself, but OBS also failed to pick up the commentary from the Razer headset's microphone. It seems to pick up the gameplay audio just fine, but doesn't seem to pick up my headset microphone at all.
