Question / Help OBS not picking up microphone audio, but does pick up desktop audio

As stated in the title, OBS won't output the audio I say into my mic.

It was working yesterday (or the day before at least), and now it's not.

I haven't changed any settings in my OBS, so I'm not sure why?

I assume the g930 headset mic is working correctly still, the mic arm is down and light is on/off ?

yes the mic if down, off (on would mean it is muted).

I actually just tried to use it with other programs last night (Skype, and Curse Voice), and it wasn't working either.. which I don't understand why. But then 10 minutes later it started working again. But now again it's not working.... I might have to post elsewhere on the internet to sort this problem out.

I just had this issue now, Mic was on but the meter wasn't moving as I spoke.

Pressed the MIC button to turn off in OBS, then re-enabled it.

Interesting.. It happened again earlier today, and this time as soon as I closed out of OBS, the mic began working fine in every other app.. Not sure why it does that.

If it's broken in other programs, I can't imagine it's a problem with OBS.

Weirdly enough, as soon as I Exit OBS, it works with all of my other software..

So I'll have to open a Curse Voice group (or start a Skype call) THEN open OBS and begin broadcasting for the mic to work w/ OBS.
